Music Crush Monday: Jungkook X Usher

Jungkook of BTS has teamed up with Usher for his latest single as a solo artist, “Standing Next To You.”

“Standing Next To You,” brings us back to the R+B mixed with pop that made music incredibly popular as well as lasting. Jungkook is positioning himself to be a force of nature as a solo artist outside of being a member of BTS. All the members have put out great music, but Jungkook’s efforts as an artist really stand out. This is not a this or that. All of the members have created wonderful singles, but Jungkook is really shining in the spotlight as he displays an array of hit singles, coupled with his choices in collaborations, while showing off his dance skills. It is an incredible feat to see an artist break away from a group and truly solidify an image as a soloist. The song is skyrocketing right to the top of our weekly playlist, while also impressively climbing the Billboard charts much like his last few singles.
