Music Crush Monday: Miley Cyrus

We’re back with another Miley Cyrus song selection. New album…new tunes, and this one is giving us a bit of insight into her break with now ex Liam Hemsworth.

The music video is beautifully shot, as it shows a lack luster side of the party lifestyle. We follow Miley throughout as she stands on the sidelines, and reluctantly wanders the madness of a Hollywood Hills party. We wonder now if this is her battle she is leaving behind or Liam’s? The song overall is a strong message of changes. Many things in life are never certain, but change is inevitable. “Slide Away” is the end of summer with its inevitable wave of change.
