Music Crush Monday: Nicki Minaj

It’s been a hot minute since we had a Nicki Minaj track, and she’s here with “Red Rubby Da Sleeze,” as her new single and folks, we’re eating it up.

Nicki Minaj is the type of artist you find yourself listening to their songs 10x on repeat because so, so much is being said. The bars are excellent, and the beat? Yeah, thats a bop too. After nearly five years since her last album Queen dropped, much has happened in Nicki’s life, including becoming a mother. The track, Red Ruby Da Sleeze has an iconic Lumidee sample to back her beats and then Nicki’s slides in like butter and delivers an incredible performance that proves her lyricism isn’t one to f*ck with. Never has been, never will be okurrr. But really, the track is a talented combination of an insane beat and well written lyrics that make it so catchy it’s got to be shooting straight to number one on everyone’s weekly playlists.
