It has been a hot minute since we were able to share new music from The 1975 and the wait did not disappoint with their latest record “Part of The Band.”

“Part of The Band’ is the first single from The 1975’s upcoming album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language. This new single when compared to The 1975’s more typical arena-filling singles, with their existential angst, glittery synths, and scream-along choruses, is instead; the kind of song you could imagine Matty Healy introducing to his bandmates with just an acoustic guitar. The 1975 debuted their new single “Part of The Band” on BBC Radio 1’s Future Sounds with Clara Amfo. It’s been rising on the charts ever since, and why wouldn’t it? We can’t stop listening to it and being lulled in by both the sound and the verses. This will be on repeat all week, thank you.
