One of the best Oscar Awards viewing parties in Los Angeles is the Annual Night of 100 Stars Gala presented by Norby Walters. This year we celebrated 23 years of bringing together TV and Film stars to watch the Oscars in style over a formal sit-down dinner in the Crystal Ballroom at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Press Pass LA was among the guests for our second year in a row!

The dinner consisted of gourmet 5-Star cuisine prepared for the stars and the famed Beverly Hills Hotel’s mixologist pouring custom made cocktails named after the Oscar nominees. Guests got to experience the following drinks: AMOUR: The “Till Death Do Us Part,” ARGO: The “Argo Have Another,”BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD: The “Bathtub Brew,” DJANGO UNCHAINED: The “Gunsmoke,” LINCOLN: The “Honest Abe,” LES MISERABLES: The “On Your Own,” LIFE OF PI: The “3.14 Ounces of Amazing,” SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK: The “5150 on TWO.”

Tons of celebrities walked the red carpet including: Doris Roberts, Steve Collins, Shirley Jones, John Salley, Lisa Rinna, Cheryl Lee Ralph, C. C. H. Pounder, Gloria Allred, Sharon Gless, Lorraine Toussaint, Louis Gossett Jr., John Ratzenberger, Jason Ritter, Buzz Aldrin and many, many more. Of course everyone shared their predictions of who would win big tonight. The popular choices were Ben Affleck, Daniel Day Lewis, Anne Hathaway and the movies, Argo andLincoln.

We spoke to actress, Loretta Devine who is currently part of the main cast of the Lifetime drama, The Client List. The actress told us “I’m rooting for Django, anything with Django in it. Ms. Q Wallis, I’m so proud of her. But, I think Lincolnmight win because it was an incredible movie.” Actress, Cheryl Lee Ralph looked gorgeous wearing a sequined, vintage Marc Bouwer gown. We asked who she hoped would win and she said, “I’m really, really rooting for the youngest person ever to be nominated for an Oscar and that would be little “Q”, Quvenzhane (Wallis) for an incredible, outstanding performance in Beasts of the Southern Wild.

Several of the evening’s nominees and winners will be joining the party after the show. The event certainly brought in more than 100 stars. It was an awesome night and a great way to celebrate and watch the biggest awards show in the film industry!
