When we first arrived, we met our own private butler named Sana. He first welcomed us with a delicious welcome drink, tropical fruits and cold towel. Then he gave us a tour of the entire resort and then took us to our Villa. The staff here is 5 Star and they go above and beyond to make your stay feel like paradise.

Their primary purpose is to respect nature, as the resort is designed to harmonize with the exotic surroundings. The resort is a combination of modern and traditional concept in design. You will be treated with more of an ancient Balinese concept.

Every villa has a private pool, natural stone bathtub, vanity unit, pantry, King size bed, Balinese slippers with matching bathrobe and the unbelievable authentic outdoor Balinese shower – and everything else you might need. Traditional touches in the villa are completed with the latest modern technology to ensure you have a comfortable stay.

Set in a natural forest, the spa facility features an open-air treatment pavilion with an out door shower and Jacuzzi – perfect for a dreamy flower bath. You also have access to their beautifully located main pool situated in the garden.

Indulge yourself at Mahamaya SPA & Salon with a collection of delightful spa treatments that will pamper your mind, body and soul. With the perfect combination of locally inspired treatment and high-quality ingredients, each spa experience will re-balance the effects of a modern lifestyle. All of their therapists are trained in human anatomy & physiology by a certified medical doctor to deliver the safest and most relaxing spa experience ever. Their menu celebrates Balinese rich healing culture and is infused with a holistic wellness practice.

We immersed ourselves with their signature couples enjoyment package. This luxury package gives you such a fresh experience, by discovering the uniqueness of relaxation in a romantic ambience. They began with a full body massage with rose, then a traditional rose body scrub. We then finished off with a rose infused outdoor Jacuzzi bath overlooking the rainforest. Seriously, is this place even real!? Yes, yes it is. You feel like you are in a dream and never want to wake up! You must visit this spa!

DINING

Back in the main resort area, the Lumbini Restaurant, is an open Balinese style dining area with traditional Alang-alang roof and rice field views. You can enjoy foods with personalized service here. Their team is committed to serving the finest quality ingredients and freshest foods every day. All of their nutritious meals and drinks are free of hydrogenated oils, MSG, artificial coloring and preservatives. They also tailor their food to individual dietary restrictions, such as vegetarian, vegan foods, gluten-free, halal foods, kids menu or any allergy requirement. They desire to create a healthy yet delicious meal from western, Indonesian to Balinese cuisine for the memorable dining experience.

We chose to have in villa dining every morning. The staff is so on point, they want you to put in your breakfast order the night before so they are on time in your villa and not late for breakfast! I mean, this is the most ultimate staff service you have ever seen. You really feel like you are dining like the stars! During your stay, you also get a complimentary one-time upgrade for a floating breakfast, which I highly recommend – because everyone has to do a floating breakfast in the jungle once in his or her lifetime – right!?

They have a vast menu of breakfast options from western oatmeal bowls to egg scrambles and roasted potatoes – to Indonesian delights like Nasi Goreng – all come with your choice of coffee or tea, freshly baked bread with homemade jam and fresh tropical seasonal fruit platters. You just can’t start your day any better!

FINAL THOUGHTS

One of my favorite resorts in Bali, Nyuh Bali Villas is a place of Balinese serenity that ensures a very special romantic experience. The hotel is ideally suited to honeymooners and couples seeking a personal and highly exclusive get-away. Although, perfect for families too. The dining with outstanding food and terrific views was unforgettable. The serene atmosphere and design of the walled villa enclosures will stay with me forever.

Hotels in Bali are praised for their excellent service and Nyuh Bali is at the top of that game! Thus it’s no surprise that every member of staff knows the guests by their name and makes you feel at home.  See you again soon!
