Last week, fashion designer, Octavio Carlin opened the doors to his new boutique located in Los Angeles at 309 N. Kings Rd. near the Beverly Center. To celebrate the grand opening, the designer held a private and intimate gathering where invited guests were able to see the clothing up close and interact with Octavio personally.
Octavio Carlin started designing in 1998 and has gained celebrity clientele including Paris Hilton, Sharon Stone and Roselyn Sanchez. His designs are inspired by the Golden Age of Hollywood that consists of lots of glamorous gowns. He has recently developed a Ready-To-Wear collection that still reflects that glamour and elegance but he added tops, pants, skirts and dresses that start at an affordable $100.
We enjoyed cocktails by Status Vodka, mini donuts by Yummy Baked, and mingled with the girls of Snapette, a new mobile shopping app. Each guest was given great gifts in a cute tote bag that included a scarf from Octavio Carlin and lots of discounts from some of the sponsors.
A gorgeous model wore a few gowns at the event and accessorized with Sonia Hou Couture Jewelry. For more information, visit Octavio Carlin.
