Aussie Christmas In Los Angeles Benefits Australian Wildlife Conservancy

One of our favorite Hollywood hot spots, E.P./L.P., founded by Aussies Grant Smillie and David Combes, has reopened and is kicking it off by celebrating Aussie Christmas in LA with a rooftop party and grill.

Christmas is usually one of the hottest times of the year down under so celebrations include an ice cold beer, fun in the sun, and of course Santa! Just because the Aussies know how to have a good time, doesn’t mean they don’t also do it for a cause…this year’s event is supporting Australian Wildlife Conservancy raising money for endangered Aussie animals.

Tickets can be purchased at AussieChristmasinLA.com and the full ticket price will be donated to the charity. AWC is a non-profit and the largest private owner and manager of land for conservation in Australia, protecting endangered wildlife across more than 6.5 million hectares in iconic regions such as the Kimberley, Cape York, Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre and the Top End.

The event is being hosted by E! host (and Australia’s own) Scott Tweedie in partnership with Tourism Australia.

With the pandemic continuing to make it more difficult for Aussies living in LA to simply hop on a plane home like they used to, this event will bring a sense of home and holiday to the city. Sponsors include Penfold’s Wine, Four Pillars Gin, Gilly’s Beer, OUR/Vodka and Mandala Tequila.
