Jo Koy hosted the 2024 Golden Globes, and it was algiht. Watching Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell together made us long for that duo to take the reins on the evening. That being said Jo Koy did an okay job, this jokes lacked taste for us (see Barbie, Taylor Swift) and it didn’t seem to read the tone of the room amongst the whose who of Tinsel Town. You can watch his opening speech below and decide for yourself:

We couldn’t post a highlights wrap without sharing Will Ferrell and Kirsten Wiig. You can check them out below and please do let us know what you think of their chemsitry together. We’re ready for a film of the two of them leading it already.

We became immediate fans of Ayo Edebiri after her speech. We are all her level of excitement and how she thanks all of her agents and manager’s assistants who we all know are doing the lords work on the daily.

Queen O also known as Oprah presented Best Motion Picture for drama, and Oppenheimer took it home.

One of our favorite Music Crush Monday songs by Billie Eilish and Finneas took home Best Song for their work on Barbie.

For a full list of who won be sure to check out Golden Globes. You can now stream the show on Paramount+ and Showtime.

We’ll leave you with the team behind Barbie who won cinematic and box office achievement.
