PARISIAN FLARE BRINGS NEW LIGHT TO LA FASHION WEEK

A little taste of Parisian flair was brought to LA Fashion week by Jelena Vuljanovic, the powerhouse, behind the Vilorija line.

Featuring 21 fresh looks this season, designer Jelena Vuljanovic, said “Each collection is named after a beautiful song, my spring/summer 2014 collection is called “Blume”, and is named after a German band, Einsturzense Neubauten.” The inspiration for the Vilorija spring/summer line played homage to the picturesque beauty of the Royal Gardens of Versailles in France.

This season’s tres chic line represents feminine style through veritable and radiant tones like classic red, electric blue, soft pink, and vibrant yellow. This years’ spring collection runway was full of pantsuits and ultra trendy high waisted shorts, while satins and silks in colorful combinations carried the look of this season’s silloutte: “the empire waist”. The Viloija runway was full of color coordinating ankle-strap, stilettos paired with delicate, botanically inspired headbands,  which accented the exquisite, floral embellished dresses. The intricate details of the line went unnoticed from the glass beading on leather handbags to the Tussar fasbrics. The magenta, satin dresses with tulle layered petticoats, stole the show, while strapped, short suits kept it young and fresh.
