After a year+ shutdown due to COVID restrictions, Pout is open for business. Pout is LA’s first inclusive beauty bar catering to all glam lovers. The beauty destination is back and better than ever, and to celebrate, they are offering 25% off all services through June 30th…just in time for PRIDE month! In addition to their signature menu of makeup services, like their most popular full glam look, “Painted”, Pout will continue to offer unique services from drag beauty to body painting, along with hair styling services.
Since its launch in 2019, Pout by Lipsticknick has become the go-to destination for premium makeup and hair styling services for all people. Fans of Pout’s unparalleled artistry include Michelle Visage, host of RuPaul’s Drag Race; music group Pentatonix; and influencers Gigi Gorgeous, Jaclyn Hill, Nikita Dragun, and Todrick Hall, among others.
Throughout last year’s lockdown, Pout offered virtual courses taught by co-founder and Emmy-Award Winning Makeup Artist, Nicole “Lipsticknick” Faulkner, to maintain connectivity with artists and aspiring pros during the closure. One virtual class in particular raised $10,000 in proceeds to support the Black Lives Matter movement. “We have always stood for equality and diversity, and although our doors were closed, it was important to us that Pout remained a safe space for creativity and expression for all, even from home,” said co-founder Nicole “Lipsticknick” Faulkner.
Pout will officially re-open doors to the public on Friday, May 21st(TODAY). All COVID-19 compliance measures will be followed on site; all artists will wear masks and face shields while performing services. All bookings will be by appointment only (no walk-ins) to adhere to minimum capacity requirements in-store.
Guests can choose from an array of makeup services provided by a team of pro artists, hand-selected and trained by Lipsticknick:
- All makeup services include standard faux lash application, and range in complexity – from “Fresh Paint” ($85.00; a fresh-faced glow) to “Brushworks” ($125.00; a creative Instaworthy glam).
- Pout is also the first space in Los Angeles to openly market boy beauty and drag, offering everything from basic men’s grooming to makeup services such as “Drag Me” ($175.00; a dramatic, full face transformation).
- Beyond the traditional beauty bar fare, Pout boasts an array of extras, including but not limited to: body/face paint (with the option for blacklight UV paint), glitter application, special FX makeup, and embellishments.
- Guests can also shop from Pout’s line of custom lashes, available in 9 different styles. Each lash is named after some of the female forces behind Pout’s success, including the “Nicole,” and the “Esther.”
