So much happens on the road to the Emmy’s every year; a successful show, great writing, phenomenal talent. But on that magical day it’s about the dress, the tux, the jewels, the hair and everything that makes up red carpet style.
Before the 86th Emmy Awards kick-off Monday night, we got a sneak peek into the 2014 Red Carpet Style Lounge presented by Secret Room Events. From vacation packages to St. Kitts (if their Emmy night doesn’t quite go as hoped), hair products, jewelry, garments to keep them right and tight under their gowns and everything you can imagine to keep their kids and pooch happy while they watch from home.
After much thought, here are my top 5 goodies!
In the puppy-primping department, I loved all the products from Pet Head. Sound familiar? The company who gives us human’s flawless hair, Bed Head, creates it. The line features all natural ingredients that don’t just cover up puppy breath or unfriendly odors after a day at the park.
Also, Schmoozies flexible bedazzled collars for your furry friends who require something less straining and restricting around their neck. Aside from being among the cutest collars I’ve seen, they have aromatherapy discs optional, flea or tick repellent discs optional, and for every one sold, one is donated to a shelter pup.
The standout beauty products were the Anti-Aging Hydration and Skin Renewal masks and drinks by Ashieda. Their beauty nectar collagen drink was surprisingly tasty and will restore collagen to your skin with just one small bottle a day, however, the face mask was my favorite. All natural, not greasy and very light, my Emmy glow will be coming from this spa in a bag rather then the reflection of the TV screen…or both.
Feeling good from the inside out is Sophie Jaffe’s Philosophie. CEO and mom of two, she’s created a powerful list of 100% pure superfood powders that are popular with the likes of A-Listers like George Clooney. Who doesn’t love tasty treats that make you feel great?
A little sparkle never hurt anyone, and the Yatra collection of arm candy and necklaces did not disappoint. Why they were on my list of faves? One Word: affordable. You hear “red carpet style” and it sounds a lot like your wallet on a one-way flight to Neverland. But Yatra featured great looks starting as low as 50 bucks.
Finally, keeping the girls in place so stars don’t end up on the wrong end of Fashion Police, starlets can thank Rago. Based in the fashion mecca of NYC, Rago does shapewear with power lace technology that feels soft, holds on tight, doesn’t roll and looks sexy on it’s own right.
