Detroit natives, JR JR (formerly knows as Dale Earnhardt Jr.) brought their high energy, and silky smooth indie-pop sound to The Echo last night.
Joshua Epstein and Daniel Zott, front men for JR JR, took the sold out crowd of The Echo on a sonic adventure, that had them dancing from beginning to end.
JR JR’s sound is a fresh shot in the arm, to today’s overly produced pop bands. Drawing inspiration from great bands like, Frantz Ferdinand, The Shins and The Killers, JR JR is sure to continue adding to their success.
The band latest single “Same Dark Places” is currently featured in the Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why.
