Sarah Jessica Parker Returns to HBO

We have come to love her as the infamous Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City, but now Sarah Jessica Parker is returning to HBO starring in the new series, Divorce.

Sticking to her New York City roots, Parker will play Frances, a woman going through a very, very long divorce and realizes that it’s much harder than she originally thought it would be.

Parker is also an executive producer on the series. Joining her on the cast are Molly Shannon and Talia Balsam playing her close friends. Thomas Haden Church will play her husband.

The comedy will be a half-hour and will begin shooting in NYC this year. There has been no premiere date set yet but we are definitely anticipating the return of Sarah Jessica Parker after her 10 year break from the cable network.
