Shabang Music Festival, Powered by Events.com, Announces Early Bird Tickets May 2nd & 3rd, 2025

Shabang Music Festival,  San Luis Obispo’s biggest music celebration, is gearing up for its highly anticipated return in 2025, set for May 2nd and 3rd. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with stunning  activations, exclusive experiences, and the biggest lineup of musical talent yet.

As a thank you to the festival’s passionate fans and dedicated Shabang community, early bird tickets for Shabang 2025 will be available starting Thursday, December 19th, 2025 at 11am and fans can secure them by signing up here! 

Festival Highlights for May 2nd and 3rd, 2025:

• Camping is back! We have tent, car, RV, & Group sites. All campsites are at an established campground (El Chorro Regional Park Campground) with water spigots, picnic tables, & more all within a 10 minute walk from the venue. Activities are provided at the campground such as yoga classes, acoustic sets, summer camp games, and ‘Late Night Discos’ – camping stages open after hours! Campers are welcome to adventure through the neighboring San Luis Obispo Botanical Gardens which has flora & fauna from the five Mediterranean climate regions of the world.

• Vibe out with Silent Disco Haüs Party. As an ode to the house show culture in San Luis Obispo, we build a literal house situated near the top of our venue complete with (one-ish) wall, roof, living room, family portraits, bar, stage, a backyard with furniture, grills, twinkling lights & more. All day, the stage hosts back to back local/California based DJ’s whose set is remotely amplified into 500+ sets of headphones.

• Immerse yourself with interactive art pieces that you can crawl through, touch, and play with. From relaxation tents, to our upside down room (a literal upside room), to the Peeking Portals where every gem in the structure has views to different mini-dimensions, people love getting lost at Shabang.

• Music is everywhere! Other performance pieces include live painting, an insane Drum group called Samba Loca, aerialists suspended 20 ft in the air, and more.

• Best of all, dive into Shabang University. Attendees can participate in yoga, dance classes, speed dating, join workshops, speaking engagements, stand up comedy, & more. The most notable moment from last year was ‘Twerk Therapy’ where participants were given the opportunity to heal through bouncing that booty! All of these amazing social activities will be returning this year at Shabang.
