June is turning out to be a good month for Shania Twain. The best selling female country artist of all time, sure does know how to make a comeback. Twain has avoided the spotlight in recent years after the very public breakup of her marriage and subsequent loss of her voice and stage presence. However, in her new show Why Not? With Shania Twain on the OWN Network, she has a chance to show the world what her life has been like since she found love again and started recording her new album.

The show had the highest rated series launch since the network premiered and has found a home with the demographic, women 25-54. Earlier this month, Twain received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her career achievements which include five Grammy Awards and selling over 80 million albums worldwide.  Still, the ever humble Twain told fans she considers it a, “Small miracle she received her own star.”

Twain released her first single in six years on the season’s finale entitled, “Today is Your Day”… fittingly, she also tied the knot with fiance Frederic Thiebaud the same episode.  The single is now available on iTunes and Twain is returning to the studio to finish up her fifth album. Up next, Twain will be headlining at Ceasar’s Palace in Las Vegas for two years. You can catch her show “Still the One” beginning December 2012.  In the meantime, you can visit her star located in front of Hollywood’s W Hotel at 6270 Hollywood Boulevard.

There’s no question Shania’s comeback is in full swing. The only question that remains is who will come back to take over the Why Not? series now that Shania’s turn is complete.  We’d love to hear your predictions!
