“Something From Tiffany’s” Movie Review

Amazon Prime, has quite the Christmas gem in it’s catalog right now. Do yourself a merry favor and watch Something From Tiffany’s to help you ring in the festive holiday season.

In the film’s most basic explanation, you follow a woman as her life gets upended when an engagement ring that was for someone else leads her to the person she’s meant to be with. It’s a classic West coaster went to NYC for a dream and a holiday and instead found someone who changes everything in his life for the better. Oh wait, that is usually the female lead, but is isn’t in this iteration. It is so nice to see the guy in a movie have to face making the move for love. To be fair he was moving for himself and his last fiance wasn’t into the idea of trading beachscapes for citiscapes.

While Something from Tiffany’s is unlikely to rise to the higher regions of the Holiday genre fan’s best-of list, it should make your seasonal watch list. Is it a cute movie? Yes. Is it also predictable? Also, yes. But, it makes you feel good and gives all the cozy vibes for unlikely meet-cutes so go ahead and add it.
