SONY ANNOUNCES SLATE FOR NEXT TWO YEARS

Sony is attempting to step-up their A-game as they release a lineup for 16 projects they plan to release in the upcoming years.

After an unfortunate losing-streak Sony has had recently due to their numerous box office flops, the company is in the process of fixing their current situation. Sony’s 16 projects have received release date slated for the 2016 and 2017 film season. These films will join the likes of the upcoming Spider-Man and Ghostbusters reboots.JumanjiRemake

Sony’s lineup features some eye-catching titles, including a Jumanji reboot—slated for a Christmas 2016 release—and two additional installments to the Bad Boys franchise. However, the most surprising film on their lineup is the upcoming Barbie film.

Although a live-action Barbie film has been rumored about for sometime, Sony is stepping up to the plate to make this project a reality. It is expected to debut June 2, 2017. Therefore, it will be a while before we see Barbie on the big screen.
