Press Pass LA always strives to “Get What Matters” to our fans, and there is no more worthy a cause than animal rights! That’s why we were thrilled to attend the Stars for Stripes event to help raise awareness and funds to save the last of the wild tigers. The event was hosted by philanthropists actress Katie Cleary and director Alison Eastwood. It benefitted both Peace 4 Animals and Born Free USA and aimed to restore these beautiful cats to be kings of the jungle once more.

The event was held at Hemingway’s & Roxbury and included a red carpet, charity gala, and live auction. The host committee included celebrities Howie Mandel, David Copperfield, Joanna Krupa, Charlotte Ross, Kristen Renton, and Winter Ave Zoli, among others. All proceeds benefitted Born Free USA’s Satpuda Landscape Tiger Programme, which protects vital tiger habitats in India, mitigates human-tiger conflicts, tackles wildlife crime, and monitors tiger ranging activity. Among the acution prizes were a trip to Costa Rica, a diamond ring, a Club Sportiva driving package, and of course a South African photo safari!

We spoke with supporters including Jessica Hall, Katerina Van Derham, and Ms. Cleary herself!
