STILLHOUSE MOONSHINE’S DINNER & WHISKEY PAIRING GETS US IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT
Moonshine Whiskey is not just your grandfather’s drink anymore. We had the pleasure of attending a sit down dinner pairing alongside award winning STILLHOUSE Moonshine overlooking swanky Sunset Boulevard at Pearl’s Restaurant.

Food bloggers & Entertainment professionals were greeted with a handcrafted cocktail upon arriving before being sat at dimly lit dinner table adorned with southern accents, whiskey bottles & flowers. I originally thought we would be getting passed hors devours but to my stomachs delight it was full three-course meal paired with a different STILLHOUSE MOONSHINE cocktail for each menu item.
Before we feasted on dinner each place setting had 6 shot glasses in which we got to sample every new flavor right from the bottle- no chaser needed for these, especially the Peach Tea & Apple Crisp (my favorites).
What did we have for dinner you ask? Let me tell you it was A LOT of food, so I’m only going to give you my favorite dish from each course.
Course one : Kale & Quinoa Salad to die for , I could have eaten that all night and been completely happy, paired with “Autumn Moonlight” Stillhouse peach tea moonshine, Stillhouse original moonshine, grapefruit bitters, lemon , simple syrup garnished with Rosemary…. DELISH it was the perfect light sweet cocktail to go with a salad.
Course two: This course I actually can’t pick one item because I loved them both- Smoked pepperoni flatbread then Crab & Potato cake. Paired with “Whole Lotta Love” Stillhouse Orignal Moonshine mixed with Luxardo and grapes.. by this cocktail you can probably guess our whole table is feeling all warm and tingly due to how much Moonshine we have drinking BUT that’s what Uber is for so keep it coming!!!
Course three: Braised Lamb Shoulder that literally fell off the bone, so yummy. Paried with “Sweet Emotion” Stillhouse Coconut Moonshine, Stillhouse Original Moonshine, Ristretto Galliano, Vermouth & Orange Zest. This drink was STRONG but oh so good!
Finally, dessert. At this point, I was thinking I should have worn my yoga pants to this event because I was stuffed with amazing food and even better alcohol. We had an Apple Croissant Bread Pudding paired with an original dessert shake… YUP you heard me right, a shake, but not just your run of the mill shake it was infused with Stillhouse Moonshine of course.
I have to say this was one of the best events I’ve been to in a long time. After a week spent in the gym, I’ll be ready for the next one!!
