STYLE WEEK, FUTURISTIC FASHION & FOOTWEAR FUSION

As part of LA Fashion Week, fashion designer, Maggie Barry teamed up with shoe designer, Michael Antonio to show their SS 2013 collections. The runway show was held at Exchange LA downtown and attracted fashion stylists, bloggers, lots of media and of course celebrities.

We spotted actresses, Shar Jackson, Bai Ling, Phoebe Price and many others in the front row to watch this spectacular show. Maggie Barry is known for her over-the-top fashion creations that attract the likes of Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Cher and Lady Gaga.

The show was full of futuristic, sleek looks consisting of lots of leather, sparkle, volume and color. It opened up with a short video film by Maggie and DJ Jes. All of the female models wore short, white bobbed wigs as they strutted down the runway. The stand out piece of the night was a walking disco ball! The crowd went wild when all you could see were long legs, yellow platform shoes and a huge silver ball dancing through the aisle.

The Michael Antonio shoes that the models wore were also fabulous! The designer offers everything from boots to stilettos for an affordable price. His shoe designs are eye catching and offer something for every shoe lover out there. They were paired well with Maggie Barry’s looks. The stylist, Arturo D. Chavez did a great job at putting the looks together and definitely made fashionistas want to be bold enough to wear them.

This was definitely a show to remember! We can’t wait to see more from Maggie Barry and Michael Antonio in the future!
