Every year on the eve of the Golden Globes, The Art of Elysium brings out some of Hollywood’s elite to support their charity. This year’s 9th Annual Heaven Gala was overseen by British fashion designer and activist Dame Vivienne Westwood and design partner, creative director and husband Andreas Kronthaler.
The event honored supporters Finola Hughes and Russell Young with the organization’s highest honor, the Spirit of Elysium award. Some of the sponsors for the evening included Tweezerman, Moët & Chandon, The LINE Hotel, GlamApp, Perrier and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
The Heaven experience included an industrialized modern world art installation by New York-based art director Andrew Ondrejcak and live performance by London-based punk band, Wild Daughter. The second portion of the evening included a post-apocalyptic rainforest with Detroit-based soprano Shara Worden providing musical entertainment alongside ballet dancers dressed in Vivienne Westwood couture.
Press Pass LA was thrilled to interview the charity’s supporters on the red carpet and attend the gala dinner to raise funds for the organization’s mission which is to make art a catalyst for social change by bringing creativity and inspiration to children, artists and various populations in need.
