The whimsical spirit of the holidays transforms Universal Studios Hollywood into a winter wonderland bringing merriment and cheer to families and friends this festive season as the theme park ushers in seasonal favorites, “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” and “Grinchmas.”
Holidays at Universal Studios Hollywood runs daily from Thursday, November 28 through Sunday, December 29, and is included in the price of theme park admission. You have to see the brand new state-of-the-art, topsy-turvy “Grinchmas” tree, twisting and turning over 55 feet in height, adorned with hundreds of ornaments and thousands of white and multi-colored LED lights choreographed to music. Universal is also sharing nightly the “Grinchmas” tree lighting Who-lebration accompanied by a snowfall flurry. You’ll love the falling snow in Whoville! It is just what SoCal needs, a little bit of a winter wonderland to get you into the holiday spirit.
Don’t think for one second The Wizarding World of Harry Potter isn’t celebrating the holiday cheer! You have to be sure to snag a cup of their hot butter beer, it is incredible. Once night settles be sure to catch The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle, which features a dazzling light projection spectacular, bringing the iconic Hogwarts castle to life nightly. You should also prepare to be enchanted by Hogsmeade’s very own acappella Frog Choir performances with seasonal songs, sure to enchant any witch or wizard.
