TIME Women of the Year Honors Nicole Kidman, Olivia Munn, Jordan Chiles and more

Last night, TIME hosted its fourth annual Women of the Year Gala in Los Angeles, celebrating the extraordinary women on this year’s list who are uplifting their communities and drive meaningful progress toward equality.

Kicking off Oscars week, the event featured appearances and toasts from actor and producer Nicole Kidman; actress, health advocate, and breast cancer survivor Olivia Munn; founder and CEO of Women in Liberation & Leadership Fatou Baldeh; WNBA champion and Olympic gold medalist A’ja Wilson; and Feeding America CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot.

“Honor each other, create opportunities for each other, protect each other and encourage each other. And that’s what this room is doing tonight. All of you are creating hope, so thank you. Thank you for having me here. And thank you for including me. And may the work continue, and may the future be bright for all of us,” shared Nicole Kidman from the stage.

Olivia Munn shared gratitude amid her cancer journey, “I have years to go in my cancer treatment, but on that Friday, my joints didn’t ache, and I wasn’t too hot or too cold from going into a surgical menopause, and my brain fog had cleared, at least for that day anyway… As I held my daughter, I was so grateful that I was healthy enough to see every minute of it all.”
