While Tippi Hedren’s name is synonymous with Alfred Hitchcock, you may be surprised to find out it’s also synonymous with giving. The screen siren who brought Hitchcock’s infamous ‘The Birds’ and ‘Marnie’ to life, is also one of the most caring people on the planet.
On October 8th Bellacures teamed up with OPI to present Tippi with the “ believe, achieve, empower” award for her work aiding Vietnamese refugees. The award is always presented to those in the community who have been able to empower women by unique and creative means.
Tippi helped them find an occupation here in the states. She was presented her award with much affection and admiration from; Samira Far (Bellacures Franchise Founder), Gerard Quiroga ( Bellacures Brentwood) and OPI founder and creative director: Suzi Weiss-Fischmann.
Additionally, guests invited were pampered with mini mani’s compliments of ‘Bellacures’ hors d’oeuvres by ‘The District by HA’. The event also featured a screening of “Happy Hands”.
“Happy Hands” is a beautiful documentary that focuses on displaying Tippi’s hardwork aiding a group of Vietnamese war refugees. With such a spirit of generosity it is no surprise that Tippi was honored with the ‘ Believe, Achieve, Empower’ award this year. Nothing beats a night of pampering and good deeds.
