Our Top Six Anticipated Movies at The Los Angeles Film Festival

Every year the Los Angeles Film Festival brings a wonderful selection of indie films to the big festival circuit right here in the heart of  entertainment. Whether you love drama, or documentaries the LAFF has something for you.

Check out our curated list of films we’re brimming with anticipation for and let us know, which ones you’ll be watching. Film festivals can also be overwhelming, as they are host to hundreds of films. Sometimes giving yourself a narrow list can really help you  make your decision, on what screenings to attend. Pro-tip, always read the festival’s film page. A synopsis can go a long way in determining whats right for your film viewing interests.

STUNTMAN

“Stuntman” chronicles the highs and lows of veteran Hollywood stuntman, Eddie Braun as he attempts what many argue is the most dangerous stunt in cinematic history. Following in the footsteps of his childhood idol, Evel Knievel, Braun reflects on having survived multiple car crashes, explosions and death defying leaps over the course of his 30+ year career in film and television. Now, in his mid-50s and contemplating retirement, Braun decides to cap off an extraordinary career by recreating Evel Knievel’s infamous unsuccessful Snake River Canyon rocket jump. In 1974, Knievel narrowly escaped death as his rocket crashed within the canyon’s walls and famously vowed never to do the jump again because it was simply too dangerous.  Dwayne Johnson & Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks Productions joins Driven Pictures as executive producers on the film.

White Rabbit
