OUR TOP THREE PICKS FOR NEW YEARS EVE IN LOS ANGELES

Still planning your New Years Eve? Stressing about where to go for the stroke of midnight? Don’t worry we’ve picked three places from Long Beach to the Valley to give you a variety of wonderful options.

If you’re on the west side, or in Orange county we recommend checking out The Queen Mary. If you choose this option you will travel back in time and voyage throughout the ships uniquely themed decks and ballrooms for spectacular live music, DJ’s, dancers, dueling pianos and more! One of SoCal’s best fireworks displays will light up the night sky off the stern of the ship at midnight. The party starts at 8:00pm and ends at 1:00am. This New Year’s Eve party sells out every year, so buy your tickets before they are gone! TICKETS

Staying closer to Hollywood? The perfect destination is obviously Yamashiro.  Not only is this glamorous historic location a Hollywood movie icon, it’s also a beautiful setting to bring in your New Year. You can expect Yamashiro’s NYE event to be stocked with amenities like a 5-hour premium open bar and a live DJ, the evening peaks in a DJ-led live countdown to midnight complete with complimentary champagne and party favors.

If you don’t know Yamashiro’s is a traditional Japanese mansion in the Hollywood Hills. Yamashiro is a breathtaking event space with stunning architecture, featuring a gorgeous courtyard garden, a ballroom, outdoor pool, and even a Buddhist temple. It’s best feature? The unparalleled views of the city of angels. TICKETS

Prefer to stay in the Valley? Don’t worry we’ve got an amazing choice for you as well. Be lighter in spirit and let out your inner kid by ringing in the New Year at Universal Studios Hollywood. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter currently has snow falling in Hogsmeade village after nightfall, and a brand new light show on Hogwarts castle. You also will find all the Whos in Whoville currently in residence. With a fabulous Christmas tree you’ll definitely recognize from Jim Carrey’s Grinch. The Park will be open on NYE until 2am. Fun fact for adults if you head to the bar inside the Three Broomsticks and order a hot butter beer, just ask for a separate shot of rum to pour into your warm concoction for the best Universal pro-tip we’ve come up with so far. TICKETS.
