We sat down with CEO /Co-Founder of Passionlix and Wallbanger Director Tosca Musk to discuss the film and her company which turns romance novels into hit movies! Wallbanger stars Kelli Berglund (Starz’s “Heels”), Amadeus Serafini (“Hidden Strike”, MTV’s “Scream: The TV Series” ) and Cathy Ang (HBO’s “And Just Like That”).
We got to speak with Tosca and talent virtually while they attended the second-ever PassionCon where 250 Passionflix fans descended on Puerto Rico for three days of screenings, panels and surprise activities, including the Wallbanger World Premiere!
The film is based on author Alice Clayton’s 2012 New York Times best-selling book, “Wallbanger” and is an irresistible tale of exasperation at first sight.
The Plot: Caroline is a young, single interior designer living in San Francisco who has been without a boyfriend for some time. She moves into an apartment that seems perfect, only to be awakened nightly by her neighbor, Simon, aka the “wallbanger.” The tension between them is as thick as the walls are thin, and suddenly, Caroline is finding she may have discovered a whole new definition of neighborly.
