Trailer Tuesday: ‘Civil War’

Writer/Director Alex Garland is back with his latest film Civil War in collaboration with A24.

As the trailer unfolds we feel goosebumps raise under our skin as it feels like a fortelling in many ways. Civil War is due to hit theaters in April 2024, starring Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Cailee Spaeny. Word on the street is this might be the most heart pounding race to the White House a movie has ever pulled off. The script is underwraps and little is known about the story. However, Novelist and Director Alex Garland is well known in Hollywood. He is an English novelist and filmmaker, who rose to prominence with his novel The Beach. He subsequently received praise for writing the Danny Boyle films 28 Days Later and Sunshine, as well as Never Let Me Go and Annihilation. If A24 alone doesn’t give you hope for the caliber of this film after seeing the trailer, we’re sure Alex’s resume will.
