Well, well, well, if it isn’t HBO waking us up by whetting our appetites for the upcoming prequel to the global smash hit Game Of Thrones, House Of The Dragon.
All we know about House Of The Dragon so far is that it is set 200 years before the fall of the Targaryen dynasty. HBO has dropped that the show will be debuting on their platform come 2022. With so many incredible fantasy series in the pipeline it seems the age of superheroes is making way for the age of high fantasy. Winter is coming was one of the most recognizable taglines of all time. House Of The Dragon opens with the chilling “Gods.Kings.Fire.Blood.” As if that wasn’t enough the titualr character utters “Dreams didn’t make us kings, Dragons did.” Excuse us while we unleash an internal scream. What an opening. Are you as excited as we are for this itty botty morsel HBO has given us today? Not to mention our goosebumps that erupted on hearing the echo of the previous theme song “Song of Ice and Fire.”
