Trailer Tuesday: ‘The 355’

Move over boys, the girls are back in town. The 355 has a stellar cast, and a plot you won’t want to miss.

The 355 is directed by Simon Kinberg, with a screenplay by Theresa Rebeck and Kinberg, as well as a story by Theresa Rebeck. The film’s tagline is pretty epic, “work together or die alone. We are #The355.” The story follows  a top-secret weapon that falls into mercenary hands, sees a wild card CIA agent team up with the best fellow women in the spy business to take down a global plot that could destroy the world. CIA agent Mason “Mace” Brown (Oscar-nominated actress Jessica Chastain) will need to join forces with rival badass German agent Marie (Diane Kruger, In the Fade), former MI6 ally and cutting-edge computer specialist Khadijah (Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o), and skilled Colombian psychologist Graciela (Oscar winner Penélope Cruz) on a lethal, breakneck mission to retrieve it, while also staying one-step ahead of a mysterious woman, Lin Mi Sheng (Bingbing Fan, X-Men: Days of Future Past), who is tracking their every move.
