Trailer Tuesday: ‘The Wonder’

Florence Pugh is bringing us a dark thriller this November with her latest film The Wonder.

The Wonder stars Florence Pugh and is set in The Irish Midlands in 1862. It is an adaptation of Emma Donoghue’s book, whose well known as the writer of Room. The story follows a young Catholic Irish girl, Anna O’Donnell, who stops eating on her eleventh birthday (4 months ago), but remains miraculously alive and well. English nurse Lib Wright (Pugh) is brought to a tiny village to observe eleven-year old Anna O’Donnell. Tourists and pilgrims mass to witness the girl who is said to have survived without food for months.
