TYLER HILTON- FORGET THE STORM

Press Pass LA had the chance to sit down with Tyler Hilton at our offices to discuss his upcoming tour promoting his new album, Forget the Storm, and ask about the future of his music and acting career. We even slipped in your fan questions and were lucky enough to have Hilton perform a private serenade of his hit ‘Prince of Nothing Charming’. Check out our video Q & A here with a special acoustic performance at the end!

Many of you may know Tyler Hilton as Chris Kelller from the CW hit show One Tree Hill or as the king himself, Mr. Elvis Presley, from the Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line. In both of these roles, Hilton played a musician, brining his real life experiences to the role. He also appeared in Taylor Swift’s video Teardrops on My Guitar. His latest record, his first full album release in almost eight years, has been the fruition of breaking free from the restraints of his former record label and putting together a ‘completely honest’ album. The album combines folk, rock, rockabilly, americana, and heavy rock & roll. The albums title Forget the Storm, references the unreleased album The Storms We Share which Hilton spent five years working on as a part of his record deal. Hilton is excited to be releasing and promoting this album as an independent artist and he could not wait to tell our fans why it has been such an important journey for him.

Please check out our video Q & A and be sure to wait for the acoustic performance of his single ‘Prince of Nothing Charming’.

Hilton will be spending the remainder of the summer and early fall touring the U.S., Canada, and Europe and is especially excited about his upcoming dates which include Joe’s on Weed Street in Chicago on August 4th, Rocks Off Concert Cruise (on the Hudson)in NYC on August 30th, and the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, performing with Sugarland, on September 2nd. For a full list of venues and tour dates please visit Tyler Hilton’s Official website.
