WALK THE MOON AND SAINT MOTEL CLOSE OUT CONCERT SEASON AT THE GREEK

It was the end of the season, and the end of an era, at the Greek Theater, as they concluded their 2015 season with an enthusiastic performance from alt-rock darlings, Walk the Moon.

Walk the Moon, were the perfect choice to close the season, their energetic and exuberant show had the audience fully engaged, singing along to hits and deep cuts alike. They opened their 16 song set with “Jenny,” and then proceeded into “Sidekick,”, and “Avalanche,” before playing the first of their big hits, “Different Colors.” The band kept things fun, pouring bubbles out into the crowd for one song, and shooting off confetti canons for their 80’s influenced rock anthem, “Shut Up and Dance.” They ended their set with their 2012 mega hit, “Anna Sun.”

Saint Motel melded quirky pop with high energy, horn-fueled retro raves. They have been blasting up the charts with “My Type,” and their newest single, “Cold, Cold Man,” and their live show proves they are a band to keep an eye on.

The show was not only the last show of the season, but the last show for Nederlander, who has been managing the Greek for the past 40 years. The venue was filled with past and current employees there to ring out the end of an era.
