‘1992’ is a brand new thriller, that follows the harrowing first night of the 1992 Los Angeles riots.

Tyrese Gibson, the late Ray Liotta, and Scott Eastwood sta in this Los Angeles riots thriller “1992.” This new feature film is from the breakout director of “The Iceman,” Ariel Vromen. Producers worked hard to have the film ready for release in observation of next year’s 30th anniversary of the riots, sparked by police brutality against Rodney King. Tyrese Gibson, a South Central L.A. native, plays opposite on-screen father and son Ray Liotta and Scott Eastwood. The film takes place on the first night of the riots, centering on a custodian who brings his son to work. The two quickly find themselves in the middle of a heist gone wrong.
