The Young California “Behind the Music” party was the perfect way to celebrate another successful year of the Grammy’s. The event took place at the Belasco Theater by hosts DJ Drama, Hit-Boy, Mally Mal, Don Cannon, Mustard, Dj Peso & Yesi Ortiz.
Beats bumped as the freshest in local talent entered the building!
New artist Lea Robinson tore it up with her new single “Pumps” and “Up In Here,” a tune with an infectious beat with a Persian-feeling flair. Lea is coined the “Granddaughter of Hip Hop” and she proved her title.
Daughter of Faith Evans known as the “Heiress of R & B” Chyna performed an unforeseen remix of Lorde’s “Royals” and Carter and Donnie Young performed their latest singles that kept the beats flowing all night long.
The Young California “Behind the Music” party was a successful night of young talent filled with family roots and musical royalty– the perfect way to wrap music’s biggest night.
