JEREMY RENNER Walks His First Red Carpet Since Livesaving Snow Plow Incident
He doesn’t just play a superhero on the big screen. Jeremy Renner jumped in front of a snow plow to save his nephew and was critical injured due to that split second life saving decision. Sure sounds like a bonafide Avenger to us! Now he’s walking the red carpet for his new show Rennervations.
Rennervations is a docu-series that follows Jeremy Renner giving you all the interior (and exterior) renervations of any D.I.Y fiend would dream of, but with a purpose for community! Disney+ and Jeremy Renner celebrated his new Original series Rennervations with a red-carpet premiere, FYC panel and block party reception in Los Angeles. The Avengers and Hawkeye star walked the red-carpet to celebrate the new series produced by Disney Branded Television, streaming April 12th on Disney+.
Joining host and star Jeremy Renner on the carpet were his co-host, business partner and friend Rory Millikin, executive producer Romilda De Luca, executive producer and showrunner Patrick Costello, and members of the build crew featured on the series, including Roxy Molohon and Rob “Bender” Park. Special guests included members of the charities featured in the series, including The Base Chicago, Big Brothers Big Sisters Northern Nevada and Casa Hogar.
The premiere event also featured a “block party” reception which included the mobile recreation center Renner and the team built for Big Brothers Big Sisters Northern Nevada and the mobile music bus built for The Base Chicago in the series.
In Rennervations, Jeremy Renner and his team of expert builders use their skills to reimagine decommissioned vehicles and rebuild them into mind-blowing creations that serve communities around the world. Every build has a purpose. Episodes 1-3 Premiere April 12, only on Disney+
Behind the big screen, Renner is a construction veteran with a passion for purchasing and re-imagining huge vehicles with the help of his connections in the worldwide fabricator culture. With his best friend and business partner, Rory Millikin, and an all-star build crew, Renner travels the globe to reimagine decommissioned vehicles and rebuild them to serve a new purpose, such as turning a tour bus into a mobile music studio, a delivery truck into a mobile water treatment facility, a shuttle bus into a mobile recreation center, and a city bus into a mobile dance studio. Along the way, Renner teams up with actor and producer Anthony Mackie (Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’’), actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens (“The Princess Switch”), actor and producer Anil Kapoor (“Mission Impossible,” “Slumdog Millionaire”) and singer and songwriter Sebastián Yatra (“Encanto”), all who share Renner’s enthusiasm and join him to deliver the finished vehicles to each organization.
