LA Nonprofit Tierra del Sol Brings Awareness to National Disabilities Month with Grand Opening on 3/25

 The local Los Angeles nonprofit organization Tierra del Sol is hosting the grand opening of Tierra’s Treasures, a sustainable second-hand goods boutique benefitting people with developmental disabilities on Saturday, March 25th from 10 AM – 4 PM.

Tierra del Sol has led the way in championing community inclusion for adults with developmental disabilities for over 51 years. The grand opening aims to bring awareness to the month of March as National Disabilities Month, and to encourage individuals to get involved. We would love your help getting the word out about this amazing cause alongside all the work Tierra del Sol does for the greater Los Angeles community.

Tierra’s Treasures will help serve those with disabilities such as Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy by empowering them to become valued, productive, and accepted members of our society. The store will be filled with unique and sustainable treasures, and staffed by those that the organization serves. All proceeds from the boutique go directly to the organization to support disabled individuals and help them to lead a life of value, dignity, and inclusion.
